The best skin care products for tightening, brightening, firming, anti-wrinkle, anti-aging and so on, and so on…. I’ve tried soooo many, let’s see, Principal’s secret, Lauren Hutton’s good stuff, Clinique, Avon, Oil of Olay, potions from Greece, France, Sweden… they all smell good and make your skin feel nice but is there really a difference? And now everything is going green - with organic skin care products being the current trend. I found an aloe vera based line called Foreverliving but for the time being I’ve got Avon and Nivea on my counter… I love the fresh scent of the Nivea products and the reasonable prices.  

Rachel and Tyra had some good info on their Friday afternoon shows. White-10 was amung the products tested on Ray-ray’s show and Tyra tested my pick for getting rid of cellulite this year - Nivea Good-bye Cellulite gel, patches and supplements. I found the whitener online and the cellulite gel and patch at the drugstore, but I haven’t been able to get the supplements here in Canada…… but I’m working on it. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Wow! Just a few minutes a day and you will see a difference.

I AM NOT ONLY A PRODUCTS JUNKY BUT A SHOPAHOLIC TOO.

From my days of dressing barbie to my bad-ass t-shirt and jeans; to the fashion fanatic I am today. If I can’t afford to wear Lagerfeld’s latest creation, I’ll put together the cutest most affordable look I can.

I check out what’s hot and what’s not and see how it translates with my budget and taste.  Camo is out; plaid is going strong. T-bar gladiator  strappy sandles are big this spring/summer and the Safari look (with a girly flare) is always a warm weather classic.

Lynda had her skin evaluated the other day from her skin care specialist and found out that even though her youth was plagued with pimples from her oily skin-type, her skin now has fewer wrinkles and is nicely moisturized - and she’s in her 60’s! So girls, don’t let your greasy skin get you down because this will definatly work in your favour in years to come!

Jelena says that we shouldn’t wax our eyebrows since this causes the skin to stretch out more than it would normally causing drooping/hooding of the eyelids. A better alternative would be tweezing or threading.

Work upper and lower body at the same time… the better stepper.
