Some helpful hints to maximize your mascara

Form and function: For big juicy lashes (volume and curl), use a big round fluffy wand/brush; for long and luscious we now have comb-like wands.

Stop smudging by wearing a waterproof mascara. I hate removing waterproof mascara because I usually take a few of my already sparse eyelashes with it but it stays put.

Try this out: do the bottom lashes first, that way wet upper lashes won’t rub or smear onto your eyelids as you apply product to the lower ones.

Keep ‘em separated. I use a safety pin to separate my lashes - I saw Julia Roberts do the same in that movie with Tom Hanks (Charlie Wilson’s War) but a much safer way is to use a brow brush/comb.
