I love the fall/winter season change. Getting out all my coats, hoodies, scarves and tooques….and best of all…..BOOTS! I love a sexy high-heeled boot but when I saw these UGG-like knee-high boots I squeeled for joy! OMG! I saw these and HAD TO HAVE THEM! I loved them soooooo much I got them in black and silver! What do you think? They could be a little much but with the right outfit…. BAM!

This week I went shopping for my fall/winter wardrobe pieces. A dressy coat, a casual jacket, a gorgeous deep, dark purple pencil skirt, a full skirt in every shade of gray, a purple blouse, a leopard print pair of high heels, a red and a purple purse. Yes, purple is definitely a hot color for fall/winter ‘08. I saw a lot of deep mustard color as well but didn’t find a nice garment to my liking. So purple and dark yellow are the colors to look for this fall and winter season. The cat walks and now the stores are filled with the deep, rich shades of yellow and purple. My closet is filled with a lot of black, white and gray so these hot fall colors of mustard and plum are great for adding a punch of color to any outfit.

In my never-ending search for the best mascara, Volum’ Express Turbo Boost from Maybelline was tested. It went on nicely with the soft bristle brush and did provide good volume. A few hours later it wasn’t holding up well. The mascara smeared all over the lower eye area thus the familiar mascara flaw… “raccoon eyes”.
