I love this little number from Bakers Shoes. The fringe is a great accent and it looks great in any colour!

I love the full skirt! I am very petite and even though I barley weigh in at a hundred pounds, I have my mother’s saddlebag hips
So most of my clothes accommodate and minimize my jiggly little thighs… the full skirt is perfect for this! It also makes me look like I have a nice little waist - which I don’t, I go straight down from my armpits to my thighs. If you have a shapeless little figure like mine, a full skirt will give you those bootylicious curves everyone loves.
P.S. Make sure you wear a nice pair of heels to make the most of this look.
The metallic trend has been around for a few seasons now…. and has been a costume standard forever. When wearing metallics, try using them as you would red. Accessorize, don’t overdo it. A nice metallic purse, a cute pair of shoes and/or a belt is plenty; if you deck yourself out in a solid metallic dress or suit you’re stepping over the ‘to much’ line.
I was all excited when I saw Rachel Ray’s girlfriend do it in a few seconds on the tv but when I tried to do it myself it wasn’t as easy as it looked. I followed the instructions I received with the package of White 10 tooth polish and whitenervery carefully. I wiped off my teeth and propped up my lips with pieces of fabric so they were nice and dry. The difficulty came with the application. I shook the container long and hard and tried to apply as thinly and evenly as possible…. as the old saying goes…. I try try again; I’ve asked others to try as well. Thicker, thinner, but I can’t get it right. Awww. I keep trying but it always looks worse than my dingy choppers do. I wonder if others have had better luck.
The days of the cute little hand-held coctail purse have gone. Is it that we have more things to carry or is it just a trend? Ever designer has their version of the oversized clutch, here are a couple I found. The Prada clutch is much too puffy and slouchy for my petite frame but the sleeker Louboutin version is definately my fave.
Solid colour and bold prints are current for this season. Cute dresses, tees, leggings, purses and full, flared skirts with bold colourful prints. So don’t be afraid to let lots of colour brighten up you and your day.
The one-piece is back, and the little black cutout one-piece is hot, hot hot! It is being proclaimed as the new little black dress… a classic staple of every woman’s wardrobe. So for women of every age group, this is a welcomed trend for summer. Wear it at the beach with a sarong, or straight to the restaurant under a skirt or with pants and a chic little jacket.
After years of dying and styling my already frizzy hair has transformed into a straw-like substance that I douse with products in hopes of bringing back shine and body… (more…)
Like the song says: “If I had a million dollars…” I’d buy Dior and Lagerfeld! My favourite shoes this week are from Dior. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better so this week it’s a tie! My picks are usually very reasonably priced - around and under a hundred dollars; some under twenty! Even though there’s no way I’m able to afford designer gear, I’m checking it out constantly in the hopes of some day.
Nails, lashes, hair, tan, eyes, boobs and butt, and good grief, most of my teeth. (more…)
